Sacrament Preparation for Adults

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) provides faith formation and sacramental preparation for adults and young people considering joining the Catholic Church through reception of the three Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist) or those who were baptized but have not yet received the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. This is an ongoing process, with no specific time frame for reception of the sacraments. A minimal fee is charged for the materials used for formation. These classes are held at our parish, and the sacraments are received during the Easter Vigil at the time when those preparing are ready to live a Christian life of service and prayer and commit to ongoing formation and participation regularly at Mass

Confirmation: The Archdiocese schedules classes in both spring and fall for adults 18 years and older who are requesting only the Sacrament of Confirmation, having been baptized and received the Eucharist previously in the Catholic tradition. These classes are held at a parish in our Vicariate, with the Confirmation scheduled at the same  parish in the Vicariate.
